On behalf of the Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania (FSS) Youth Basketball Program, we would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to consider our requests for donations or sponsorships for our AAU youth travel basketball program.
FSS is a registered, basketball organization based in Fredericksburg, VA serving the counties of Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania. FSS provides athletes ages 11-18 an opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a fun atmosphere centered on teamwork, respect, hard work, and determination, while developing a strong work ethic essential in today's world. We are committed to development and empowerment of future leaders/athletes by using basketball as a tool to improve mental health and fitness, excel in academia, develop life skills and values to become well rounded productive citizens in society.
Our focus is teaching and training youth in the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on preparing them for the next level of play in high school and hopefully college. Part of our plan is to provide players with educational resources and mentors. These services are provided to make youth more competitive and marketable for scholarship opportunities. By competing in high profile basketball tournaments, located throughout the U.S., our teams will gain valuable exposure to college coaches and recruiters; thus, making scholarship opportunities available to our players.
As a new community organization, we rely heavily on support from dedicated small businesses and people such as you. We appreciate any type of contribution to our program be it monetary or goods and services. Funds are used for training equipment, player lodging, transportation, tournament fees, and meals. All proceeds raised go directly to our program.
